Science investigates the natural world using testable evidence. The Bible speaks about God, purpose, human value, and our relationship with the Creator. Because those are not all the same kind of question, science cannot experimentally prove God—and a scientific theory does not automatically disprove God.

Are there gaps in the fossil record?
Yes. Fossilization is rare, so the record will never be complete. Gaps invite more research, but they do not erase the thousands of fossils and other evidence scientists study.

Can DNA fit both conversations?
Genetic similarities are major scientific evidence for common ancestry. A believer may still see DNA and natural processes as part of God’s creation and providence.

Evolution is strongly supported science.
The scientific evidence for common ancestry comes from fossils, anatomy, cellular processes, and DNA comparisons. The Smithsonian reports fossils from more than 6,000 early human individuals, while genome research shows patterns of shared ancestry. That evidence should be described accurately—even on a page rooted in Christian faith.
